We use vulcanized natural rubber for that lasting wavy feeling on your feet. Vulcanized rubber is highly resilient to wear and tear, it does not absorb water easily and can withstand great pressure: perfect for soles.
Following the biomechanics of your foot by adopting to your footprint, these cushioning anatomical insoles are your own personal and fully supportive cloud to walk on.
The Vulcans shoes consists of 70-95% organically produced heavy quality cotton materials. And we have the certificates to prove it.
Our shoes are fully lined with 100% organic cotton from heel to toe, for optimal protection, sturdiness and comfort.
For people with little feet (size EU 30-34) we offer a slip-on variant with elastics on the shoe tongue. So no worries about laces; the shoe stays in shape while you are exploring the world.

Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is an international quality mark that sets environmental requirements for all phases of the textile chain. Requirements for working conditions apply to factories a.o. in terms of forced or child labor.
The EU Ecolabel quality mark (owned by the European Union) sets environmental requirements in all phases of shoe production. From restrictions on water use, harmful substances to recycled packaging material.
The Leather Working Group certificate (in process) promotes responsible leather sourcing and manufacturing. It evaluates environmental performance in areas such as water and energy use, waste management and chemical compliance.
